There are many ways to prepare herbs for consumption, here are a few ways our products are prepared:

Tincture: the process of allowing herbs to sit in a sealed jar over a period of time in a menstruum and then straining for use. Our tinctures do contain ingestible alcohol.

Syrup: the process of creating an infusion of herbs, then blending a menstruum and sweetener. Our syrups do contain ingestible alcohol 

Oil: the process of allowing herbs to sit in a sealed jar with an oil to extract the herbal properties

Elixir: the process when herbs sit in a sealed jar over a period of time in a menstruum and a sweetener has been added. 

Powder: the process when dried herbs have been put in a grinder to create a powder.

We aim to either forage the herbs locally in Augusta, GA or use certified organic seeds to grow and harvest. When we are unable to do either, we then buy from trusted certified organic suppliers or small business apothecaries.
